  1. Sounding like Michael Gira on a Saul Bellow bender, Publicist UK are driven by the dark baritone of vocalist Zachary Lipez. With a cerebral, dark and at times infectious groove, Forgive Yourself is one of the most intriguing cross-genre debuts in many years.
  2. Publicist UK are a post-punk band featuring members of Municipal Waste, Revocation, Goes Cube, Discordance Axis, Burnt By The Sun. Their debut album ‘Forgive Yourself’ is made up of heavily textured layers of sound that have a dramatic soundtrack quality, carrying the singers’ dark baritone, reminiscent of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds or one of the more produced sounding P.J Harvey .

It’s not that I have been putting off reviewing Publicist UK ’s album, “Forgive Yourself”, out now via Relapse Records, and it isn’t so much that I can’t quite gather feelings on the paddcheckcomocennatamocetyrewind.xyzinfo reality of the matter is that this is a tricky review for me to write because of how much I enjoy this album.
